Aspen

Aspen is a comprehensive, cost optimized, highly integrated reference design solution which enables system vendors and ODMs to develop a GPON Residential Gateway. The SFU and Residential Gateway reference design provides triple play: Data, VoIP, and IPTV services as well as diagnostics and calibration of GPON optics.

ASPEN is based on the BL2348 SoC, USB 2.0 and 802.11n WiFi device, including analog SLIC for telephony interface and operational software. It provides the complete feature set associated with triple play services.

Together with Broadlight’s GateMakerPro Software Suite and VoIPerfect add-on package, designers can develop high performance, low-cost GPON Gateways complying with ITU-T G.984.3; interoperable with most industry leading soft-switches, quickly and with low risk.
