BroadLight’s Helios Processors Deployed for New Business Gateway Device in SK Broadband

October, 17th, 2011 – Santa Clara, CA. – BroadLight, the leading supplier of fiber grade processors, announced today the deployment of its Helios embedded multi-core processors to be integrated with Korea’s Deonet DI-3124 Business Gateway System and to be employed by SK Broadband.

The DI-3124 is an enterprise gateway, working with a 1Gbps WAN interface. Helios embedded processors are highly integrated single chip solutions, enabling the DI-3124 to support a range of service functions, such as 1Gbps NAT routing and 16K multiple sessions, stable triple play service, QoS and security and easy system management via SNMP and Web GUI.
